Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal information Al Ain Jewellery ("we", "us") collects when you message us on WhatsApp or visit our channels, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and how you can ask us to correct or delete it.
What we collect
- Your WhatsApp phone number and the display name on your WhatsApp profile.
- The content of messages you send us: text, photos, videos, voice notes and documents.
- The date and time of each message.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, passwords or identity card numbers over WhatsApp. Please do not send them. If an identity document is sent to us by mistake, we delete it on request.
Why we use it
- To answer your questions about our jewellery, orders, repairs and appointments.
- To keep a record of enquiries so a member of our team can follow up.
- To keep business records such as supplier invoices and receipts sent by our own staff.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.
Who processes it for us
We use the following service providers to receive, store and organise messages. Some of them store data outside Bahrain.
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) | Delivers messages between you and us. |
| n8n | Automation software that routes incoming messages to our records. |
| Google (Drive and Gmail) | Stores files you send and sends internal notifications to our team. |
| Notion | Holds our enquiry and document log. |
| OpenAI | Reads text from photographed receipts and invoices sent by our staff. Customer photos are not sent to it. |
How long we keep it
Customer enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and for our normal business and legal record keeping, and are then deleted. Accounting records are kept for the period Bahraini law requires. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner.
Your rights
Under Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) you may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw your consent to us contacting you. To stop receiving messages from us, tell us in the chat or email us.
Security
Access to our message records is limited to authorised staff. Files are stored in private folders that are not shared by link.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this section.
